Greetings everyone and welcome to the final release of Project Origins: The Chill of Requiem. Although this is a little later than I wanted to release the final 'short' story, I am super excited to share Khalinor's origins with you all. The final product of Khalinor Origins ended up being much longer than I had first anticipated, but nevertheless, it is complete and ready for you all! Out of the three short stories, Khalinor Origins is my personal favorite and will serve as the official prologue to the first book in the Ashborne Chronicles: Tale of Nameless Thieves. As always, if you have any feedback, feel welcome to contact me via email or twitter. So without further ado, please enjoy the beginning of The Ashborne Chronicles.

Greeting everyone and welcome to the release of the second short story of Project Origins, Sharpness of the Wind. As for progress regarding the last short story in Project Origins, there has been momentary delays with Khalinor's short story as I work out some pivotal plot elements that will play a big role into the first novel to come. Be rest assured, however, that I am fortunately making headway and plan to fully release Project Origins before the end of 2023! In the meantime, please enjoy a glimpse into one of my favorite characters...

As the brutal war between the Godwynn Kingdom and the tyrannical Grand Empire rises to its climax, Thane Godwynn is left hollow, haunted by the horrors of his actions. The Grand Empire is broken, but so is his bloodline. As the heir to the throne, Thane must find a way to win the war and protect his people. No matter the costs. However, the winds of Dierholm's capital, Valingard, shift unnaturally. And soon, Thane will find out the true power of the Grand Empire's reign. A reign built on the ashes of countless deaths, countless lives, and countless ages...

As a spotlight into one of my favorite characters in the Ashborne Chronicles, Thane's origins take place 15 years before the current time of the first novel in the series, and although his origins continues long past this short story, this brief glimpse into the perspective of Thane Godwynn serves as a pivotal point within his story. As always, if you have any feedback, feel welcome to contact me via email or twitter. I hope you all enjoy! Till next week...

Greetings everyone and welcome to the beginning of Project Origins! With the final release of the Ashborne Player's Handbook, I am thrilled to move forwards within the Ashborne Project and am super excited to share what I have in store with you all. Progress regarding the Ashborne Novel is going well, but unfortunately I am still not ready to share any specific details about the novel just yet. In the meantime, we will be seeing the release of Project Origins, starting with Sare Origins - The Reddish Madness.

Set in the perspective of the young swordsman Sare, the Reddish Madness explores the tragic aftermath of a brutal betrayal within Sare's past. With so many questions left unanswered, it is clear that something beneath the shadows is taking place. However before those secrets can be sought out, Sare must first deal with the consequences of failure, not only for himself, but for those which must be avenged...

Though it is the shortest of the three shorts stories within Project Origins, the Reddish Madness serves as an deep character study into the mind of Sare and sets the stakes for the rest of Sare's story. As always, if you have any feedback, feel welcome to contact me via email or twitter. I hope you all enjoy! Till next week...
